Sum of Us Kids Therapy Hub was born from the frustration at being unable to find the *perfect* paediatric workspace in Melbourne’s inner-west. There are loads of allied-health clinics that specialise in working with adult clients and too many *not-quite-right* co-working spaces that feel more like an office. SO, the only answer was to create one… from scratch!

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a warm and welcoming space for a broad range of paediatric allied health professionals to work within. If you are looking for a modern clinic room and see yourself contributing to the symbiotic growth of your own practice as well as the Sum of Us Kids Therapy Hub community, then get in touch for a chat 🙂

Clinic Rooms

We have 7 clinic rooms of various sizes, which means we can be super-flexible regarding your work-days and room requirements. Our clinic rooms are fitted with desks, storage and LED light covers. We have a professional cleaner come twice weekly so the rooms are always spick and span! We have a storage room and the clinic is entirely wheel-chair accessible.

Professional Development & Networking

You will become a part of a supportive community of neurodiversity-affirming clinicians and there’s always someone around to chat with and learn from. We often organise shared-PDs, and you will also have access to our quarterly neurodiversity-affirming practice SIG presentations. Our director, Becky, LOVES to help people get started in private practice and happy to provide mentoring in this area.

Security

Practitioner safety is of the utmost importance to us. For this reason, we have installed state-of-the-art digital door locks. Meaning that if, for example, you are working by yourself in the evening, you can lock the door and allow your client access on arrival, via your phone app. You can also check if your client has arrived via our security camera app, without having to leave your room.

Meeting/Workshop Space

Our largest room is the perfect size for your next meeting, PD, or workshop. Available from 7 pm each evening, it seats between 8-10 people at a table, but more in free seating. Sum of Us Kids will provide a projector, tables, and chairs, and you can have access to the kitchen if you wish to prepare food and drinks.

Everything else you ever needed!

We want to ensure that you have everything you need. Our kitchen includes microwave, fridge, espresso coffee machine, toaster, filtered water, sandwich press, biscuits and choccies. Our reception area has a colour printer & scanner, NBN wifi, Hicaps machine, shredder, phone and Efax. We have a virtual receptionist to answer all our calls.
