Becky is a highly skilled and passionate Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. She graduated from City University in London and has extensive experience working with children in a variety of settings, including clinics, schools, and hospitals. As well as working in Melbourne, Becky has worked in remote Western Australia and, most recently, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Becky, always keen to develop her clinical expertise, is qualified in several therapeutic approaches to help your child with their needs. These include DIR Floortime, Spalding Method, PROMPT, Lidcombe Program and SOS Approach to Feeding and MSL.
Becky continues to learn (and unlearn) in regards to all things speech pathology. She looks to, and learns from, the autistic community to improve the ethicality of her practice. For this reason, at this time, Becky does not offer social skills/pragmatic language therapy unless specifically requested and consented to by the autistic child.
Becky loves working in Melbourne’s inner-west. She feels fortunate to live in such a fantastic city and likes to make the most of the cafes, cinemas, and bike lanes. Becky enjoys learning new languages (is currently learning Spanish) and has a black belt in the martial art, Aikido.
