Kim is a warm and empathic psychologist who specialises is women’s mental health. She prides herself on being able to develop a good rapport with her clients and enjoys the deeper therapeutic work that can often result when the relationship is positive. She offers a space that is open, non-judgemental and strengths-based; helping clients tap into their pre-existing skills to reach their goals. Kim uses evidenced-based approaches such as cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and
commitment therapy, and schema therapy.
Kim has worked with emergency services in the past, gaining experience with trauma focused therapies and has recently completed the Master of Clinical Psychology – which saw her researching trauma interventions with police. In addition, Kim has a Master of Organisational Psychology and has worked with leaders, organisations, and individuals in navigating complex work issues. Her passion however lies with supporting women through whatever life phase they might be in.
When Kim is not working, she is spending time with her husband and two kids in the west, and pampering her cat Eevee. Her loves include coffee, baking, drawing, exercising and coffee.
